A closed-loop circular economy industrial chain of tar, heat, electricity and steam was formed, with 4 dry carbon black production lines, 4 sets of 1.5 MW carbon black tail gas waste heat generator sets and 40,000 tons of kettle coal tar processing unit.

In response to the national environmental protection policies, completed industrial transformation and upgrading by investing 500 million yuan in total.

The first production line of wet carbon black was put into operation.

A 2x6MW power plant was completed and went into operation.

A 400,000-ton coal tar refining plant was officially put into operation, with 5 wet carbon black production lines being built successively.

Two new-process wet carbon black production lines were built with the single-line production capacity of 50,000 tons/year, equipped with12MW carbon black tail gas waste heat generator sets.

The company has a total of 7carbon black production lines, with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons, an annual power generation capacity of 24 megawatts, and an annual coaltar refining capacity of 600,000 tons.

A total of 1 billion yuan was invested to realize digital transformation and to extend the industrial chain.

The coal-based new materials project was completed and put into operation. With 10 special lines for carbon black production, Sanqiang is world-leading in carbon black output with its single plant annual production capacity of 480,000 tons.
